Better Gold Swing: Exercises

SIMPLE EXERISES
These simple exercises can help strengthen arm and/or lower back muscles and just may keep you from getting hurt playing your favorite game.
Wrist curlsUse a lightweight dumbbell. Lower the weight to the end of your fingers, then curl the weight back into your palm, followed by curling up your wrist to lift the weight an inch or two higher. Start with 2,3 4 sets of 5-10 repetitions with each arm.
http://snipurl.com/1one1Reverse wrist curls. Using a lightweight dumbbell. Place your hands in front of you, palm side down. Using your wrist, lift the weight up and down. Hold the arm that you are exercising above your elbow with your other hand in order to limit the motion to your forearm. Start with 2,3 4 sets of 5-10 repetitions with each arm.
A simple suggestion of possible exercises to help build up your forearm muscles. Plus maybe avoiding the dreaded golfers elbow
http://snipurl.com/1one1Tight Squeeze a tennis ballSqueezing a tennis ball for five minutes at a time is a simple, effective exercise that will strengthen your forearm muscles. Start with 2,3 4 sets of 5-10 repetitions with each arm.
Row, row, row. Firmly tie the ends of Bike inner tube. Place it around an object that is shoulder height (like a door hinge). Standing with your arms straight out in front of you, grasp the tubing and slowly pull it toward your chest. Release slowly. Start with 2,3 4 sets of 5-10 repetitions with each arm.
The Pull-down.With the bike inner tube still around the door hinge, kneel and hold the tubing over your head. Pull down slowly toward your chest, bending your elbows as you lower your arms. Raise the tubing slowly over your head. Start with 2,3 4 sets of 5-10 repetitions with each arm.
To those who don’t play, golf seems like a low impact sport. But golf provides a real physical workout and arm and lower back pain and injuries are common among golfers. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons recommends some preventive exercises so golfers can protect themselves against injury.

ABC should be Rebuked
ABC NEWS BANS FLAG LAPEL PINS
This is true and even though I will have little effect on ABC News revenue I do plan on being careful to not view any program that is on ABC and boycott, if at all possible, the sponsors of ABC. Barbara Walters said that this was going to hurt ABC bad. As you know she works for ABC.
This should make your blood boil...it DOES mine!
ABC NEWS BANS FLAG LAPEL PINS!
YESTERDAY THE BRASS AT ABC NEWS ISSUED ORDERS FORBIDDING REPORTERS TO WEAR LAPEL PIN AMERICAN FLAGS OR OTHER PATRIOTIC INSIGNIA. THEIR REASONING WAS THAT ABC SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL ABOUT 'CAUSES'.
SINCE WHEN IS SUPPORT FOR PREVENTING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION SOME SORT OF A 'CAUSE'? SINCE WHEN IS PATRIOTISM TO BE DISCOURAGED?
I URGE YOU TO BOYCOTT ABC AND ITS SPONSORS AND AFFILIATES. WE ARE SLOWLY LOSING EVERYTHING OUR COUNTRY STANDS FOR AND EVERYTHING OUR MEN AND WOMEN FOUGHT AND DIED TO PRESERVE!
THIS HAS BEEN VERIFIED THROUGH: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/noflags.asp
THIS ONE NEEDS TO GET OUT IF IT HASN'T ALREADY!

Golf Tip: Left Arm

Left Arm Long at Setup
Keep your left arm long when you set up to the golf ball. This applies to every golf shot you hit.
The left arm needs to be long at the setup. This will be the foundation that will create width in your golf swing. Width creates power and increased swing speed.
It's extremely important to start with the left arm long for 2 reasons:
- It sets your body at the correct position at setup in order to get back to the impact position accurately and consistently.
- It's easier to keep your arm long throughout the complete golf swing if it starts that way.
